REDX - Rethinking Engineering Design execution.REDX is a unique, bottom-up, co-innovation platform designed to develop interdisciplinary technology innovations for solving the most pressing challenges within our communities.
REDX Clubs operate as non-profit organizations. Institutions specializing in engineering, technology, business and design can initiate, build, and grow an innovation capacity by starting a REDX Club. REDX brings together technical experts, innovators, researching institutions, implementation partners and corporate partners that will allow us to solve the most pressing challenges within our communities. REDX Labs and Clubs serve as gateways to the energy and creativity of innovators who are creating solutions to satisfy significant social needs.
MASSIA (Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture), Aurangabad: MASSIA is not for profit industrial bodies which represent the small scale and agriculture related industries in Marathwada region. MASSIA always seek to play a catalyst role to address the industrial and society related challenges in Marathwada region. It is biggest small scale industries association in Marathwada region. It works to promote Industrial Technology, Research & Development in the various fields for betterment of industries and overall society at large. It also encourage and assist people in Marathwada to take up & pursue industrial, agriculture and commercial occupations and to strive for the development of their entrepreneurial abilities.
GIZ Innovation Project: GIZ is German federal govt owned company, works in the area of sustainable economic development, energy, environment and urban development areas in India. GIZ Innovation project aim to create innovation eco-system for MSME sustainable growth. GIZ innovation Project Maharashtra office is based in Aurangabad, where project is continuously striving to bring Industries and Academic Institution together to enhance their collaboration to promote innovation in small scale industries. Project has succeed to bring 12 engineering colleges and 100 small industries together where more than 200 projects have been allotted to students and faculties of these colleges. Project is supporting MASSIA to take the leading role in mobilizing local stakeholder and build a continuous and sustainable engagement mechanism between industries and academia in region.
In order to bring the innovation culture in Aurangabad REDX and MASSIA joined hands together to start first of its kind REDX-MASSIA innovation club.This Innovation Club is supported by GIZ Innovation projects for enhancing collaboration among industries, Academia and local stakeholders. REDX-MASSIA innovation club consist of a lead team of 15 students from 6 different engineering colleges from Aurangabad and a team of 8 senior board members from industries, Academia and other expertise areas. This lead team would work on following themes to address the local challenges and try to address these problems through innovative solutions:

REDX-MASSIA Club in Aurangabad is inviting students from different streams and colleges to become the part of this innovation oriented journey and to contribute to understand the existing challenges exist in Aurangabad city. Students would be mentor by expert from the local region and mentorship support would be provided from REDX international team from across the world.
